Endless praise to the Wise Creator who designed the universe with astonishing order and precise laws; the One in whose will all matter and meaning, time and space, find their purpose. He is the source of knowledge, life, and truth, and all scientific understanding reflects a portion of His infinite wisdom. Ostrich breeding has emerged as a modern agricultural industry due to its significant economic and productive advantages. Ostriches are gaining notable attention in global markets because of their rapid growth, high-quality meat, large eggs, durable leather, and valuable ornamental feathers. This study aims to review various ostrich breeding methods and evaluate their economic significance, providing a foundation for improving ostrich farming practices within the country. A library-based research approach was used, sourcing information from nationally and internationally recognized books as well as credible electronic databases such as Google Scholar, ISI, and Animal Science. Findings indicate that with the rapid growth of the human population and the increasing demand for protein sources, ostrich farming can serve as a sustainable source for meat, eggs, and other products, contributing significantly to food security and rural employment. In Afghanistan, the semi-intensive system—combining controlled feeding with access to open space—has proven to be an effective method. Despite challenges such as climate change and the need to protect wild populations, the ostrich farming industry holds strong potential for expansion and economic development
